Before beginning the fitting process, make sure your SnoreMeds™ mouthpiece is clean and dry.
Have a bowl of cold water ready, along with a separate bowl of boiling water.

Check Mouthpiece Orientation: Ensure that the SnoreMeds™ Mouthpiece is facing upwards, with the correct side up.
Insert Fitment Spatula: Firmly insert the fitment spatula into the designated holes on the mouthpiece. This will help you handle the mouthpiece during the fitting process.
Practice Insertion; Stand in front of a mirror to practice inserting the mouthpiece. This will allow you to observe the process and make any necessary adjustments.
Lower Jaw Forward: As you practice inserting the mouthpiece, focus on moving your lower jaw gently and slightly forward. This movement is crucial for the effective positioning of the mouthpiece.
Following these steps will set the stage for a successful fitting experience with your SnoreMeds™ Mouthpiece.
Boiling Water: Boil water and carefully pour it into a mug. Make sure the water is at a safe temperature for handling.
Submerging the Mouthpiece: Gently place your SnoreMeds™ Mouthpiece into the boiling water, ensuring it's fully submerged.
Leave the mouthpiece in the boiling water for the recommended 18 seconds.
Observing the Material: As the mouthpiece is heated, it will become clear and the material will soften. This indicates that it's ready for the moulding process.
Practicing Positioning: Stand in front of a mirror and practice positioning the softened mouthpiece in your mouth. This will help you get a feel for the process and ensure you achieve the desired fit.
Placement in Mouth: Gently place the mouthpiece into your mouth, ensuring it is centered and aligned with your teeth.
Positioning on Lower Jaw: Begin by positioning the mouthpiece onto your lower jaw. Make sure it rests comfortably against your teeth.
Adjusting Upper Jaw: Carefully bring your upper jaw down to meet the mouthpiece, ensuring a snug fit.
Ensure that your teeth are positioned inside the outer walls of the mouthpiece.
Forward Jaw Movement: Move your lower jaw forward by approximately 3-4mm. This slight adjustment helps achieve the desired positioning for optimal effectiveness.
Biting Down and Pressing: Gently bite down on the mouthpiece while maintaining the forward position of your lower jaw.
Using both index fingers, apply gentle pressure to the mouthpiece to help create a secure and snug fit against your teeth and jaw.
Rinse Under Cold Water: Before using the SnoreMeds mouthpiece, you need to rinse it under cold water. This step is likely to clean the mouthpiece and prepare it for moulding.
Mould Setting: : After rinsing, you'll need to let the mouthpiece sit for a moment. This allows the mouldable material to set properly, ensuring a comfortable and effective fit in your mouth.
Shake Off Excess Water: Gently shake the mouthpiece to remove any excess water from rinsing. This step helps ensure the muolding process works well and isn't affected by excess moisture.
Remove Fitment Spatula: If the SnoreMeds mouthpiece comes with a fitment spatula (a tool used during the moulding process), you should remove it at this point. The spatula is used to shape and adjust the mouthpiece during the fitting process.
Storage: For hygiene and safekeeping, store the SnoreMeds mouthpiece in the provided container. This helps protect the mouthpiece from dirt, dust, and other contaminants when not in use.
Allow a period of 3-5 days to become accustomed to the mouthpiece.
If you encounter any discomfort, verify the fit of the mouthpiece.
